About Vernetta Wood

Vernetta Wood is the Founder of Sacred Heart Ministry and a devoted minister, Christian writer, and educator with over 30 years of experience as a published author. As the Publisher of Digest This! Ministry Magazine and the Host and writer for the Digest This! Bible Study Podcast, she provides valuable spiritual guidance to help believers deepen their understanding of the Bible. 

Vernetta has also served in various church leadership roles, including Director of Youth Ministries, where she has impacted numerous lives through her dedication to faith and service. Her ministry continues to inspire others to walk closely with God and grow in their spiritual journey. 

Married with five children and one grandson, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
